Rachel...Six Months Later!!

Wow, it's been awhile! The photography blog is taking up all my blogging energy! So not much is going on, I dedicate most of my posts to Rachel, so why not another one?

I can't believe my baby is six months! It might be through a mother's eye, but she just keeps getting cuter and cuter! It seems like she has grown up so much lately...so fast! It kinda makes me sad, because now I can totally understand how people say enjoy EVERY moment, because it goes so fast. She is now eating solids and sitting up all on her own. Our latest challenge is trying to get her to take a bottle. Mike and I are going on a vacation in a couple of weeks to celebrate our anniversary, and we're trying to get her ready for a week with Grandpa and Grandma. Any tips??? Seriously, we've tried everything!! I just don't think she can live a week strait on rice cereal and mashed string beans!

So in other news, our anniversary is on Tuesday...another thing I can't believe how fast life is flying by! I'm so lucky to have such a great husband. Our trip that we're taking...was totally planned by Mike and was supposed to be a surprise. Long story short...I found out we're going somewhere, I just don't know where!
Another milestone coming up is my B-day. Wow...one year older...and just older! It kinda seems like all the milestone ages that you look forward to are behind me, but that is also a good thing. Every stage I'm in I think is the best one, but then when I see other people going through ones I've already been through I always think to myself, "That was a fun stage, but I'm so glad we're not there anymore!" Oh well, Rachel is slowly stealing my youth with every late night feeding anyways hahaha! Well enough of my random thoughts!

First Time Swimming!

We had so much fun on Saturday watching Rachel play in the pool for the first time! She was totally a natural! She just automatically started kicking her feet and waving her arms...she knew what to do! The whole time she just had a big smile on her face and was squealing in delight! It is so awesome watching your child discover new things, and how they see the world, I love being a mom so much!

After much debating, I finally decided to put my hobby into action! Photography is one of my favorite things, it is so much fun, I love to do photo shoots! Fun Family Photos

I finally got around to touching up our newest family photos, they turned out pretty good for just playing around! By the presence of Mike's hat and my ponytail, they obviously weren't planned. But oh well, when the scenery is that pretty, who cares! By the way, that dumb baseball picture of me is only in there because I keep deleting it and Mike keeps putting it in to be funny, so oh well I figured I better explain!
